Our Founders
Matthew Galimi
Matthew Galimi is the Founder and CEO of Divergent IT. With 26 years of experience in the technology sector Matthew understands the importance of IT strategy and what it takes to maintain your business secure and running smoothly.
Matthew started his IT career working for the NY City board of education at the age of 17. He has worked in different industries, his exposure to these industries proved to Matthew the importance of great infrastructure to be able to run a profitable business in a rapidly changing landscape.
In 2019, Matthew Galimi founded Divergent IT with the intention to invest in and empower Charlotte’s communities. Today that intention is a reality.
Outside of his professional role Matthew is a family man, golf enthusiast, and dog lover.
Nancy Galimi
Nancy Galimi – is the Co-Founder and CFO of Divergent IT. Nancy learned how to run a business from a young age from her mother. This skill came very handy while facing the 2008 recession when she and Matthew together created their first business.
Nancy is also a certified yoga instructor and mindfulness facilitator. These newer skills have become foundational to her organization and the way she conducts life and business.
Nancy is also a proud parent to her daughter, Sofia, and her fur babies Jeter and Luna. Outside of work Nancy loves spending time with family, hiking, practicing yoga, and traveling.
